Boracay At Its Best ♥

May 27-28, 2012.
Boracay Island, Philippines.

Nothing beats an ultimate summer experience together with your family and your love ones! It's my second local destination both with Nemo and the fam! First was at Zambales - where Nemo officially met my parents and relatives, and second was at Boracay Island, Philippines.

It's my first time at Boracay, and I felt like I'm a Brazilian foreigner! Not. Kidding aside, It was such a relief after we landed from a long journey, all the way from Cainta to Caticlan. As our first day continues, we're getting excited and felt awesomely awesome as we reaches one of the best-est beaches in the Philippines!

Our family has different departure time. We're divided into three groups. 1st group by 5:30am, 2nd group is by 6:30am & our group by 8:30am. We arrived at the airport three hours before the said flight, that's 3am to be exact!



And as for our group, together with me was Nemo, Marvin & Ma'am Jill. We we're at the airport SIX HOURS BEFORE OUR FLIGHT!!! So this was me while we we're waiting. haha :P


Before I forgot.. Remember what we bought at F&H? Tadaaaah! Spidey!

Fast forward, 1 hour after we arrived at Caticlan Boracay by almost 10am. It was my first time to ride a boat and felt nausea & vomiting along the way. That's the time I realized that I had motion sickness when it comes to traveling through waters.


So for our first day, we had rest for a couple of hours and went straight ahead to the beach front for swimming.

While everyone was busy having a rest and swimming at the beach, I was also busy....


Having my hair braid! I had it in half, I was scared I might look bald if I had the braids in full.

It's going to be our first night at Boracay. We had a Buffet eat-all-you-can at La Carmela De Boracay beach front for only P270.00/pax.

Our first night.. It was a blast! Had Night swimming at the Beach, making fun with the beach waves and went out to stroll a bit for the famous Boracay's night life.


My most awaited second day! The MUST-PRODUCTIVE part of our vacation.


We had our Island Hopping! The scenic spots, the Islands over Aklan & Romblon are very overwhelming. It was simply beautiful.




Here are some of the awesome Islands we visited during our Island Hopping.

As we had a stop-over to one of the islands, I had the opportunity to make one of my dreams come true. Something I pulled out from my bucket list...


And that, is to wear a two piece bikini suit! For the very first time, I boost all my self-confidence to bring out the best of what my body has. As what I saw from one of the restaurants in Boracay - "The MEATIER, The SEXIER!" Fierce!


Here's another shot from my Day 1 swimming where I wore a different suit. Still shy since I haven't removed my shorts. LOL.. Still in the process of boosting my self-confidence. haha.

This guys totally rocks!! We we're able to buy Buko in the middle of the sea! We even had a chance to buy a CORNETTO ICE CREAM! Yeah, you read it right! Another sea vendor selling Cornetto Ice Cream for P50.00! haha.. Same price with the famous Magnum Ice Cream huh?! But check out their efforts and everything, it's not worth it to bargain for a cheaper price.


We also had snorkling too! The reefs, the fishes under the middle of the sea, It was PRICELESS.

Going back, we had our lunch at D'Talipapa to market for seafoods & meats. Then we looked for a restaurant wherein they offer cooking charges.

Our menu, Calamares, Shrimp with oyster sauce, a red fish that I can't remember the name, and squid! Isla Restaurant's chef did a great job! Their cooking skills are so awesome. Natalbugan ang luto ni Ate Dona! haha.


On our way back... I got a chance to have a pic with Mommy & Daddy. I just really want to give them a super HUGE HUGS for everything. Thank you also for the food treats. How I really wish Mariel was with us. Kulang talaga kapag wala si Mariel :( 

So right after our lunch, It's the last day of Starbucks' Happy Hour (wherein all of their frapps are half a price!) So while they were busy going to look for Starbucks at Station 1, Me & Nemo went to Bulabog for our Helmet diving.



It's kinda' sad because Mariel wasn't with us, (she has class - you know? DLSU - excited pumasok!) haha.. But seriously, we weren't complete without her :(

Plus, Tita Mean's side, all of her kids has Asthma, while daddy has leg fracture. That's why, only the two of us (Nemo & I) had the chance to try helmet diving. It was sad, pero inisip nalang namin na this will serve as our date UNDER THE SEA with NEMO! ♥


Fishes weren't around that time, but we fed fishes during our video *video will be uploaded soon*. We had our friendly starfishes to accompany us!


Thank you Nemo for this unforgettable treat. Finally, I found Nemo & I dated Nemo under the sea!

When we got back to our hotel at La Carmela De Boracay, some of us were very tired of the day's activity - so as Lola - they decided to take a rest for a while. Nemo & Marvin went straight to the beach front and Me & Ma'am Jill strolled around to look for souvenirs.



Ma'am Jill & I decided to have a henna tattoo. She had hers at her lower back with a butterfly henna, while I got mine on my hands with abstract stars.

PS: Thanks Ma'am Jill for this awesome henna treat!


Before our day 2 ends, I tried to take shots as I saw the relaxing sunset by the beach.

OH YEAHHHHH! Third & last Day.... Here we come!



Early in the morning, we had an ATV/Buggy ride with Nemo & Marvin. While everyone is making the most of the Boracay beach, we're on the other side of the island for another awesome adventure!

And lastly, what makes the formula complete - Nemo. Accepting you as my future husband by my family is a remarkable event in my life. Treating you as a part of our family means so much to me. Thank you for everything. In four months time, it will be our 4th anniversary - I never been this happy in my life if not because of you. Thank you for always making me feel so special. I love you!

Finally, the original plan, natuloy na! Pizza-All-We-Can is soooo awesome! Ganito pala ako ka-frustrated the last time I wasn't able to experience Greenwich's unlimited pizza (that was 2 years a ago I think)..

Watched The Avengers movie with my fanboyfriend, Nemo! ♥


After a few days of decision making, between two cinemas that we love - we ended watching at The Eastwood City, Cinema ULTRA 7!


Original plan was to watch at Resorts World Cinema 1 for the lazy boy seats + unlimited popcorn & drinks. Until we found out that there's also a lazy boy seat at Eastwood, so we chose what is near from our place. Well, I'm loyal to Resorts World, but ULTRA 7 is a job well done for me too.




Our time was at 4:30 pm, and we we're at Eastwood by 11:00am! So early, we even saw our Parish Youth Ministry friends (with their whole family - Ate Inna, Ate Da & Aia with their mom & dad) Going back, we decided to have a light lunch at McDonalds. (We still have hang-over from Yssa's eat-all-you-can birthday party last night!)


While waiting, we went again at Time Zone, and while Nemo was busy playing Tekken, I tried to play again the toy crane machine yesterday from Yssa's birthday - I was lucky enough!!!


I got three giraffe, 1 bear & 2 Spongebob stuff toys! and hell yeah! I finally experienced the "super grab power" for the first time! It is going to hold the stuff toy/prize strongly that it will never lose its grip! I became a toddler a while ago because of that!

We played basketball, dance maniax & tekken together! Haha! We don't usually compete in games. But today, was our first time to play competitive games at Time Zone! We both failed at the DMX, I won the basketball game (score: 45/41) & of course, Nemo won during our versus Tekken game.

Time Check: 3:00 pm!

We slept at Happy Lemon! You can't blame us, they have an awesome couch! haha!

And FINALLY! It's 4:00 pm!


We decided to enter cinema ULTRA 7 early so that we can continue our sleep at the awesome lazy boy seats! not! It was actually for us to adapt the nature of being a couch-potato!




Wow! Purple is the color of the day! Kailangan color-coordinated? LOL

Thanks Nemo for this wonderful treat! From the lounge, to the lazy boy seats up to the superb service - I felt like were a king & queen watching movies at home. Thank you for making me feel this way. First time! ♥



Enjoying our unlimited pop corn & unlimited drinks served by their awesome butlers!

Yeah, again, this is not a date. I just want to fill in with Nemo's hobbies & interests. Which made me realize, that I somehow love Marvels too (yeah, sort of. My ex taught me about it, but I wasn't that interested) until Nemo taught it to me in a different way. He introduced to me, one-by-one, from his idol Iron Man, to Captain America, and now - to MY CRUSH -- The Incredible Hulk!

It was an awesome guy's world indeed! No wonder The Avengers grossed a staggering P100.76-million in its first two days of release nationwide making it the biggest-grossing movie in Philippine history.

Thank you Nemo for the treat! I enjoyed every single detail. *pinky swear*
